Jumonville Challenge/Ropes Course Workshop
April 16-19, 2012 ---- Head Start Sessions April 16, 2012

Greetings Adventure/Program Enthusiast!

It is an exciting time to plan the Jumonville Annual Challenge Ropes Course/CCCA Allegheny Section Programmers Workshop. How our industry has evolved and grown. It has been exciting to watch. Anyway, a few bits of information regarding this year’s Workshop. Be aware that the format for this event has changed!

We are delighted to have several Headstart Workshops.
Beginning on Monday, beginning @ 9AM, Dr. Jim Cain will lead Adventures in Teambuilding. After taking a whole year off to complete writing three new books, research new challenge activities and create a new collection of team and community building activities, Jim is ready to share the best of the best.

On Monday, beginning @ 9AM, you will have opportunity to be trained in High Ropes Level 1 & 2 Test Prep/Advanced Skills. There is an add-on fee for this class of $60 (normally runs $100). This training is through Universal Ropes Course Builders. A minimum number of registrants are required for this event also. Lunch is included.

Some Very Exciting News for this Year's Workshop for Those Seeking ACCT Certification:
Universal Ropes Course Builders, Inc. is proud to offer Challenge Course Practitioner Certification according to the ACCT Practitioner Certification Standards as an additional opportunity at the 2012 Jumonville Conference. (read more specifics about certifcation and trainings being offered by URCB...)

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, you will have opportunity to receive training in Spotted Elements through Universal Ropes Course Builders. This 20 hour Clinic runs every day of the Workshop. Additional fee for this training is $120 (normally runs $200).

In additon to this, there will be additional sessions to choose from. These are included in your registration fees. Once again, the Adventure Center will open in the evenings for climbing and bouldering. There will be worship and devotions as well. We are looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and making new friends. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

You can have the opportunity to lead if you are so inclined. Submit your session ideas to me and, if scheduled, receive your choice of a $25 credit for each session on the cost of your stay in Washington Lodge.
