Join Karen for this super sized event with more campers than your average adventure camp. Camp activities include: climbing at Greenbriar, swimming in streams, running the “bum slides”, climbing, and high and low ropes course Special days include a Pedal Paddle trip (a half-day of biking, a half day in “duckies” on the river), and caving. Bible Study and devotions are an important part of this event.

low ropes course / king swing / Adventure Center

Event J568 is currently scheduled to be in Hickory & Maple Cabins. That could change, but more than likely that's where we will be staying.

About Karen Morrison

Jumonville is a special place that Karen holds dear to my heart. She began camping at Jumonville when I was 7 years old. During high school she worked on staff and has counseled and deaned camps since 2001. Each summer Karen looks forward to spending multiple weeks on the mountaintop with her campers. The type of camps she has deaned vary. They range from Elementary Samplers to High School Sports and most recently an Adventure Camp.

Karen is 28 years old and lives in Star Junction. She has a Masters Degree in Education and is an EMT for a local service. She also works in the Emergency Room of a local hospital. She enjoys hiking and camping outdoors and also likes to travel. Her family is very important to her and she enjoys spending time with them. Since starting at Jumonville, her Christian Faith has grown. Karen is more spiritual and has a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. She enjoys sharing her Faith with her campers and enjoys those "teachable moments" that come about while at camp. She'd love to have your child as a camper. About Kara Achille

Kara is a past summer staff member that graduated from Cornell University and is now in dental school. Kara has lots of weeks of expereince as both a counselor as well as a summer camp dean.
